Emy Peter

Emy has lived in the Cowichan Valley her entire life. She is an artist who, in recent years, has been involved with many community agencies including, various youth centers, local food banks and volunteer Cowichan. Her time with CGC began with growing plants at Kin Farm, a learning she is most thankful for. Intrigued by the natural environment, she hopes to teach and learn from others while exchanging her knowledge of arts and crafts. She is excited to be a part of CGC’s youth outreach team as she knows it is an opportunity that will allow her to continue to extend her generosity to others. As she looks forward to working more in the community, she also admires working with a team that appreciates her strengths and values her ideas. Being part of a youth group where she is known and recognized for her creative hands and heart is an empowering experience.
