In our own words…

With 9 acres of farm and food forest OUR Ecovillage grows many different leafy greens, vegetables, fruit and berries. We also have a modest amount of life stock; cows, sheep and goats. There is always a good selection of chickens, ducks and even a wild turkey or two.

We also have…

OUR Ecovillage is a demonstration site and education centre for natural building of all kinds – cob, straw bale, light straw clay and slip straw. We also focus very strongly on Permaculture both in design of systems, farming and permaculture of life in general. Community building is the end result of everything we do here at the Ecovillage.
