Well, we have a lovely volunteer position for you! We are looking for people who would like to help us create the Upcycled products we sell in the store ( all monies go to support other CGC projects). We do aprons from Men’s shirt’s, tea cosies, coffee press covers, canning jar sweaters from felted wool sweaters, t-bags (shopping bags) from t-shirts, garden totes and garden aprons from pants and banners…. to name a few of the projects we get up to. We are a fun group, and as a sewing volunteer, you have lots of flexibility as to when and where you would like to sew. All instructions are provided, so no worries there.
We we have a great volunteer position for YOU! We are looking for people who can enjoy helping and supporting our Local Showcase Vendors (please see Garden Pantry Store section on this website) and who would enjoy sharing knowledge about our many wonderful programs and initiatives and ultimately helping interested people connect with those programs or program managers. We do all this in a retail environment, the Garden Pantry store, and the shifts range from 2 1/2 hours to 4 hours, 1 day a week (or more if you would like) and we are pretty flexible about the days.
For more information on Volunteering and Volunteer Sewing, please contact the store manager, email@example.com
