The Cowichan Green Community presents the 2019 Seed Farmer Incubation season. Located at the Cowichan Incubator Seed Farm, our seed farmer training offers a unique opportunity to learn the ins and outs of seed farming through scheduled classroom time and hands on learning. Join us on September 28th from 6:00pm-8:00pm or on September 29th from 1:00pm to 3:00pm for a tour of our farm and an information session on what to expect from our seed farmer training program! Who: Cowichan Green Community

What: Open house for the 2019 Seed Farmer Incubation Training season.

Where: The Cowichan Incubator Seed Farm is set on 3.5 acres in the heart of the Cowichan Valley located at 2431 Beverly Street, just look for the green building!

Why: Cowichan Green Community is a non-for-profit organization focusing on food security in the Cowichan Valley. Without seed security, we cannot achieve food security.

How: Through the training of new seed farmers we will enhance this region’s food security. Learn how to plan, care for, harvest and reap the benefits of seed farming through our incubation process!

When: September 28th 6:00-8:00, or September 29th 1:00-3:00
