“Our goal is to create a sustainable living centre at our home. We are incorporating permaculture principles in our garden, including two hugelkulturs and a food forest, along with green energy and water projects. We have installed a 2.5 kW solar system, heat pumps, and a 2800 gallon underground cistern for collecting rainwater for micro-drip irrigation. In addition we have built a cob greenhouse/cold storage, with a biodigester for collecting methane from compost material”.
