Bring Back the Bees with Ted Leischner NEW DATE!

Saturday, July 9, 1 pm

Centennial Park

Because it has been such a cold, wet spring, we have decided to postpone the workshop tomorrow until July 9th.

“This cold slow spring has affected all of us, plants and winged ones included. Ted Leischner, a local bee expert explains that a diversity of bees and pollinators have been particularly impacted by this unusually cold wet weather. “It’s sad to see but important to note, these types of climate-change-related occurrences. The bees and their cycles are impacted majorly by the availability of pollen and sunlight, and this year the natural rhythms have been thrown off.”

Because of this, we have decided to postpone the native bee workshop until Saturday, July 9, where there will be more flowers blooming and more native bees around for us to learn about

We will see you at Centennial Park, on Saturday, July 9th from 1 pm – 2:30 pm for a great day learning about bees, butterflies, and meadows!

Come out and learn about the amazing diversity of native pollinators with local Pollinator Steward and native bee expert Ted Leischner.

In this workshop, Ted will share simple bee identification and teach us about the important role native bees play in our local ecosystem. Suggested
