Join Genevieve Singleton, local naturalist and enthusiastic guide to the natural world, as she walks us through the unique ecosystem bordering the Cowichan River. We will meet in Rotary Park at 10am, and walk through the park, and along the dike, learning about the plants that grow in this area. Genevieve is a passionate nature-lover, and grateful to make her home on quw’utsun territory. She particularly enjoys sharing her love of wild plants through fun facts, ethnobotanical information and stories. She has 40 years experience sharing her love of the outdoors. Come prepared to have fun and be entranced by the magical world of local flora. We will also be touring the native plant site in Rotary Park that we are planting as a part of The Resiliency Project.
