This plant walk is an opportunity to immerse yourself in the wild forests and medicine plants of the mossy maple groves along the Cowichan River. Della Rice is a local Quw’utsun medicine woman and knowledge keeper who has been working with wild medicine plants since she was a young girl. Della’s passion and deeply rooted connection to the land is always inspiring to witness. She will be sharing indigenous plant medicine. We will meet by the playground parking lot at the Glenora Trails Head Park at 10 am sharp. Please bring a water bottle, good walking shoes, and anything else you might need for a 3-hour walk into the forest.

The workshop is by donation. Nobody is turned away for lack of funds.
