Tours

At CGC we love to showcase and share the work we do! While we encourage our community to wander through both our urban farm and food forest, at any time of year, the Kin Park Youth Urban Farm and Community Food Forest at the Station are also available for scheduled tours.

The Community Food Forest offers self-guided tours in and around the Station building in downtown Duncan. The public is encouraged to wander this unique site and explore all the various layers of the food forest from the larger canopy fruit and nut trees to the various ground covers and root crops and everything in between. The edibles of the food forest will tempt you with their wide array of colours, scents, and tastes. Come on by!

The Kin Park Youth Urban Farm offers gardening workshops (vermi-composting, compost tea, and potato tower building for example), work experience programming as well as general site tours or events bookings.

To book a tour, event or work party at the Kin Park Youth Urban Farm or Food Forest, please contact us at 250-748-8506.
